About Fiona
Hello, my name is Fiona, I'm from Germany and was raised bilingual with German and English. I've always been interested in foreign languages, my father who speaks 12 languages is my great role model. I studied English, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish and French at school and university. I studied psychology in Germany until my Master's degree and did a yoga teacher training in Colombia. I traveled around Latin America for a couple of years, now I'm currently traveling in South East Asia. My passion is dancing, acroyoga and getting to know other countries and cultures.

Having learned various foreign languages myself, I know what is important when learning a new language. In the past, I have tutored students in Brazil in German and English. Now I`ve been teaching German online for more than 3,5 years to students around the globe. I always adapt to the level and wishes of my students. Would you like to improve your grammar? Your listening or reading comprehension? Your pronunciation? Your vocabulary? Your conversation skills? It doesn`t matter whether you`re a complete beginner or already an experienced student wanting to practice your conversation skills, I teach all levels. I'll be happy to help you in a playful, interesting and patient way.

Perfect! I think Fiona is an excellent teacher. She is a native German speaker which was important to me. She has an outstanding understanding of both the English and German grammar and vocabulary. More importantly, she is a pleasant person, patient and encouraging.. I never feel put down when she corrects me. Which is often. I highly recommend Fiona as your guide on a Journey to learn a new language.

Fiona is a fantastic yoga teacher. In addition to being very didactic, she accompanied me from beginning to end, correcting my postures so that I wouldn't do anything wrong. She is very patient. I highly recommend her, and I will definitely be taking more classes.
