About Yana

Hello, students! I`m a qualified and experienced language tutor with a Master's degree in German language and translation. I have experience in teaching German at school and University.
I would be delighted to offer one-to-one Russian language tuition to determined learners, who are eager to build up their current knowledge or to start from scratch, and who are committed to achieving a certain level in a very short time, from beginner level to extensive.

About the lesson

My professional focus is on improving communication skills using fast-track and immersion techniques. The pace of my training is intensive and dynamic with focus on developing grammar, vocabulary, fluency and how to use the language in authentic situations

I select a training program individually for every student depending on their level, interests, and goals.
-Active learning of grammar, an extensive conversation practice.
-Creative tasks that will make language learning fun and interesting. You will quickly improve your pronunciation, grammar, speaking, reading, writing and conversational skills.
If you want to improve your language skills or start studying Russian (Ukrainian), you will definitely like my lessons that are individually tailored for each student according to the level and interest and aimed at your success!

I recommend Yana as Russian tutor to anyone who wants to learn russian with really professional teacher and in pleasant atmosphere! Yana is also nice and easy-going person, she can adopt lesson plan and materials to your goals and wishes. I am a lawyer and to be able to speak with my potential russian clients I started to study business Russian with her (the basic knowledges of language I had before). But even for such serious study (law area) she tried to create interesting topics and exercises for developing my speaking skills. I am very glad that I have found such teacher like Yana!

Yana ist sehr kompetente und klüge Lehrerin! Ich bin auch Lehrerin, aber ich mochte die Methodik, die Yana zum Erlernen der Sprache verwendet hat. Nach dem Unterricht bei Yana konnte ich die Prüfung in Moskau bestehen und ein TORFL Zertifikat bekommen.

Yana is a really good tutor! I`ve only had her for just over a month and already my Russian has really improved, more than it has in over a year of studying at university. She plans the lessons to match what you need and has a range of interactive activities you can do both during and after. I would one hundred percent recommend to her to people with any standard of Russian!

I am very happy with the Russian lessons I`ve had via Skype with my tutor Yana. Each lesson she introduces a new topic in a well-planned way with the appropriate vocabulary and with special emphasis on pronunciation. The lessons are very much as I requested and are proceeding at a pace commensurate with my ability to assimilate the content. The lessons have been very instructive, at the same time relaxed & fun, so that I have no hesitation in recommending Yana as a Russian tutor.
