About Alisha
I have a Master's degree in Creative Writing, a Bachelor's in Communications Studies, and a Bachelor's in English/Writing. For the last eight years, I've taught English Composition at the University of Central Oklahoma.
My students leave my classes with a better understanding of how to develop content, use and cite sources, and structure an essay.

My teaching method includes various techniques for different types of learners. Most of the time, I am hands on and willing to exemplify problem solving. I also ask a lot of questions to prompt students to develop their writing or analytical skills so that they can complete assignments on their own with minimal or no help in the future.
