About Sakshi
I am a dance performer and choreographer with a dancing experience of more than 6 years. I have various national and international performances under my name like having represented India in Scotland, Dubai, Seychelles, Saudi Arabia and national level stage shows and events in Delhi, Mumbai , Udaipur, Punjab to name a few. I have had opportunities to work with some of the known dancers and choreographers of our Bollywood industry like Bosco , Terrence Lewis, Andy, Sushant Singh Rajput, Alia Bhatt, Salman Yusuf Khan, Diljit Dosanjh , Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone.
I have been giving dance and fitness classes and workshops and family functions and corporate events for a long time now. I have been trained in Jazz and contemporary dance styles and have been doing Kathak for 3 years , while Bollywood and freestyle continues to be my forte and all time favourite !
I am a MBA pass out corporate person who made a transition into full time dancing to help spread happiness around through my craft.

My methodology for teaching a student consists of different steps.
• First I try to know what level of body does my student has. If the student is a non dancer with a stiff body, then in every class some time is dedicated for growing the flexibility of the body and making the student learn the rhythm and beats of music.
• If the student has some level of flexible body with a sense of rhythm and musicality then we can start from body warm-up and then begin with easier dance steps first and increasing the level then on.
• After setting the pace of the student we will just have fun with dance and music so that the student feels engaged and comfortable with the art form.
• The dance routine is initially practiced in bits on counts and music, to master the move properly. After that the routine is practiced again again to set it in muscle memory. This not only builds the body as a dancer but also help burn a lot of calories and burn fat
• At last, the class is ended with some body cooling exercises to bring body temperature to normal.

Excellent! Sakshi is open, communicative, and highly encouraging! I was initially apprehensive about virtual dance classes but Sakshi seems to have figured out how to keep students engaged virtually.
