About Jacquith

I am a professional African dance artist, choreographer, and cultural educator with over 20 years of experience teaching African and Afro-diasporic dance online and in-person. My mission is to bring authentic African dance classes to students worldwide, blending traditional rhythms, creative expression, and cultural empowerment. Throughout my career, I have performed and taught with renowned dance companies such as Fusha Dance Company, designed award-winning costumes for Carnival with Sesame Flyers, and led cultural dance workshops at the Caribbean Cultural Center African Diaspora Institute (CCCADI). As a teaching artist with the prestigious Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM), I have guided countless students to build confidence and joy through African dance and movement. In every online class, I provide authentic African dance technique, powerful storytelling, and an inclusive environment welcoming all levels — from beginners to experienced dancers. My multidisciplinary expertise in choreography, singing, and costume design creates a rich, transformative dance experience no matter where you are in the world. Whether you’re new to African dance or looking to deepen your connection to Afro-diasporic movement traditions, I’m here to support your journey with patience, respect, and creative energy. Join my online African dance classes and let’s keep these ancient rhythms alive — together, wherever you are.

Working with Jacquith was a pleasure. She enjoy what she does and it shined through her teaching. I was scared at first, but her patience made it an enjoyable experience.

Cause she always has been a person who keeps her word. She's my cousin and always shows such love. When we hang out she will help us with everything we do.
Her joy is always something special.

Jacquith is someone whose energy speaks for itself—warm, joyful, and deeply genuine. She shows up with kindness and beautiful energy, that makes you feel safe and supported, which is so important when you're learning something as vulnerable and expressive as a dancer. I love that she has the ability to create a space where people can be themselves, grow at their own pace, and feel celebrated every step of the way. Anyone would be lucky to learn from her, especially the art of dance.
