About Jack
As a 5th year medical student, I have gone through NCEA and HSFY myself. This means I know what it's like and what you need to know to do well. Being a 4th year means I have substantial experience in what you need to know at all stages of your educational journey- regardless of whether you want to do medicine. I'm flexible and can cater my lessons to your specific needs, allowing you to get the most out of tutoring.

I'm a 5th year medical student at the University of Otago and keen to help other students with HSFY. I can tutor students currently in HSFY or those in high school wanting to prepare in advance.
I can tutor all 7 core HSFY papers, UCAT and MAOR102. I'm also able to provide general advice/tips about how to suceed in HSFY.
I gained A+ in all of my HSFY papers and MAOR102. I was 1 of only 2 students to achieve 100% in the POPH192 essay- the only essay in HSFY. I was awarded the Prestige Scholarship in Medicine for distinction in medicine years 2&3.
In NCEA I endorsed with excellence at all levels and in all subjects. I was also Dux and head boy.
I'm very flexible and happy to adapt my tutoring style to suit your specific needs- just get in touch and we can go from there. I'm a patient and friendly person who will provide a supportive environment for my students.
Outside of studying I really enjoy getting amongst the outdoors tramping and biking and believe in living a balanced life.
