About Luke
Hi! I am a high school senior based in the highly competitive Washington D.C area. I am on track to graduate with honors and an advanced diploma in June of 2021. In addition I'm also a member of the National English Honors Society and am Club President for multiple clubs at my high school.
I have tutored around twenty-five students between the 6th-10th grade in the past two years.
My students have always seen a minimum of a higher letter grade in English after I have assisted them.
I specialize in essay writing, rhetoric, creative writing and analyzation of literature.

I have been told from my past tutees that I am non-threatening and approachable with questions. I tend to tutor students from the 6th through 10th grade as I am familiar with the content and writing skills needed in those classes, as I am a high schooler myself
I always attempt to meet the student at they level they are and assist the student find the rhetoric in their existing writing. I believe there is an excellent writer in all of us, but we simply need assistance articulating from time to time.
