About Jessica
During my A-Level geography course I felt unsupported by my teachers and struggled to find resources online to help. However, I taught myself strategies to quickly memorise and understand information which led to me receiving an A. Now studying Design for Sustainable Innovation at the University of Warwick.

For A-Level EDEXCEL geography students. Lessons typically last 1 hour but shorter or longer can be arranged. A case study pack will be provided along with sample questions. Typical lessons start with going over the exam board specification where we will then move onto key words and phrases. The student and I will work through essential information, I will provide links and resources for any further research the student may wish to do. To summarise information learnt in the sessions we will plan a relevant exam question which the student may complete in their own time. End of lesson we will link back to the specification (as this is where exam questions come from!). By request the student and I can work on exam technique and work through exam questions together. Some lessons will include an interactive digital worksheet which we will go through together. As I achieved an A* in my NEA I am happy to help students although this is not my speciality.

Jessica is an absolutely wonderful teacher! She has helped my child go from a failing grade to a grade 7; not only is she extremely patient and kind but she also makes sure that the student understands fully the topic before moving on which was very helpful in our case! She changes her lesson plans according to the day and how the student reacts in the lesson and the effort put into the lessons is always much appreciated. Communication is very lovely as well, she is flexible in scheduling and availabilities are always negotiated which I am grateful for. Wonderful tutor!
