About Jacob
I’m Jake, a teacher from Wales now in Australia. I love teaching (English as a day job) but my passion for music means I enjoy teaching guitar on the side. I’m grade 8 certified and have played in many bands. Learning with me is fun, because if you’re not having fun playing guitar don’t bother. You will also improve with tips and tricks that only come from 17 (!) years of playing :)

Guitar lessons are a great way of developing a life long passion for the instrument.I combine the fun of playing guitar with the skills and techniques I’ve learned as a 5 year experienced teacher - you can be sure you’ll be learning!
If there is a passion or interest in guitar and music, we will follow that to ensure you enjoy learning. Favourite songs, artists and gaining solid fundamentals are all important.

Jacob tutored my child for over 1 year and we saw the enjoyment and progress increase. The fact that he is a qualified teacher makes him excellent and he has all the techniques to make the biggest impact.
Jacob is a very organised, knowledgable and kind man. He takes tutoring seriously and genuinely cares about the progress his students make. I would thoroughly recommend him!
