About Komal
I hold a Master's degree in Chemistry, and chemistry has been the subject I've been most passionate about for years, both in the classroom and in research.
What drew me to tutoring is the chance to share the conceptual knowledge of chemistry in a simple, approachable way. I want to make chemistry fun for students, not just something to get through.
My academic background means I don't just teach chemistry from a textbook — I bring in a research-based perspective. This lets me connect what you're learning in class to how chemistry is actually practiced and researched, which often makes the material click in a way rote memorization never does.
I genuinely enjoy helping students build confidence in a subject that holds such real-life significance. My goal is to help you truly understand chemistry and its concepts, not just memorize them. Whether you're catching up on fundamentals or want to go deeper into a specific topic, I'm here to help you and work at your pace.

I focus on building conceptual knowledge of students and give them real-world examples to explain the topic thoroughly. I break topic down with visual models. I hold an MS in chemistry, so beyond traditional coursework, I bring in research informed approaches. Having a background in research, I can give career-guidance to students and help them along the way.
My classes are intended for school as well as college/university students.
