In the first couple of sessions, I'll assess the student's current level to pinpoint exactly where they need support and identify which topic areas to focus on. We'll then work through real exam questions together, building confidence and ensuring thorough preparation for their exams. I'm patient throughout this process, providing guidance and encouragement every step of the way to keep them motivated and make learning enjoyable.
Over the years, I’ve studied the key elements of each exam and broken them down question by question. From the very first lesson, students begin tackling real exam questions, regardless of current ability. I also make sure to cover any gaps in knowledge, ensuring they're ready for every type of question that could appear on the exam.

Perfect! Sam is absolutely wonderful! Before him I was getting 7's in my mocks and he pushed me up to a 9. He was great at explaining topics and in lessons we did a mix of focusing on certain areas and doing past papers. I could not recommend him more.
Perfect! Sam’s been brilliant with my daughter, we’ve seen a massive shift in her confidence and results. Reliable, easy to deal with, and clearly knows his stuff. Highly recommend him to anyone.
Perfect! Sam has been great with my son, he has taken the time to understand his knowledge gaps and to work through them in a way that makes sense. My son's confidence has grown so much in just a short space of time, things have really clicked for him.
Perfect! Sam has been a first class tutor and has really helped my son. His confidence has grown a lot and he is enjoying learning with Sam. I have no hesitation in recommending him

Sam was my son’s tutor for more than two years. My son loved Sam’s lessons, he was super patient and engaging, helped him with his maths homework and also played an important role in his successful math’s grade.
Sam was my tutor for my GCSE maths and he managed to take me from a grade 3 to a grade 5 in only a few months which allowed me to get into sixth form. He is a very encouraging and patient teacher and is always happy to explain any hard question in alternative ways than I was taught in school which helped me to understand topics I always struggled with. He is also very kind which makes him very easy to get along with. I would recommend going with Sam if you need help with maths!
Sam is a fantastic patient tutor. He helped me to get my maths to a level needed to get into university. He patiently learned me everything, I was a complete noob in maths before Sam, and within 10 months I had both achieved my level 2 degree and my GCSE! I truly recommend Sam!
Sam worked with my son who found maths very challenging and was a very reluctant student. Sam was really patient and kind, his personality really suited my son and he got him through to pass his GCSE, first time he’d ever passed a maths exam! He’s super reliable and I’d highly recommend!
