About Renn
I know what it feels like to not do well in a class at first. However, good things take time, and with diligent practice, you can get better! What matters most is your attitude and mindset. Through my unique academic struggles, I never ever gave up and became a better student when I maintained a positive attitude and growth mindset. I have learned to embrace failure as it encourages you to learn more and learn better. I promise to help you to fail forward.

I like to teach by example and help my students learn by doing. A typical lesson plan would have a particular learning objective introduced, followed by my own demonstration of the skill and encouragement for the student to try tackling the topic on their own. I am incredibly patient and willing to go above and beyond to learn about my students' unique learning styles and preferences. I primarily teach middle and high school students.

She has been reading my essays since the beginning of time. She is so good at giving constructive criticism and helping you strengthen your work. If you work with her, you know you are getting a good edit.
As a long-standing friend and former classmate of Renn, I have always confided in her for help and for her warm and welcoming attitude! She is a patient listener and has an eye for detail which I really appreciate! I have always looked forward to reading her writing - whether it be creative or critical - and have learned ways to better my own writing. Additionally, she was a large part of my college essay journey and I valued truly valued constructive criticism. Her input was always conducive to my learning and I have gained so much knowledge and experience with her!
