About Allison
I betting that if you're here, you are on the struggle bus with your lessons. Been there and felt that.
While going through school myself, I realized that when I studied with others, we all did better. I started teaching and including others more. I found out that it felt just as great when my fellow students did well as when myself did well.
I'm here to continue helping fellow learners to do well. I tutored math in high school during summer school, and during college, I had a tutoring job for an epidemiology class. It was amazing when my friends came to me and said, "Check out my score!" When we did it together, it was possible.
I excel in science and math classes. Often times, we get lost in the wording of the questions or the processes just don't make sense. We can go through those together, and I'll teach you how to read the question. You can do this! I look forward to working with you.

I understand that subjects in school are hard. And that's ok; you are challenging yourself to become better. I believe that learning this material should be hard, but not impossible. I want to help you understand that you are capable of passing the test. I will show you how to do the problems and give you tips and tricks to taking tests.
What I do during our lessons is set an end goal together. Are you looking to understand the material? What score do you want on your exam? Next, we will identify the trouble areas of your lesson(s) and go over it with a fine tooth comb. Finally, we practice. Repetition, repetition, repetition. This will cement the material in your mind.
I specialize in math and science subjects. I can break down algebra and geometry very well for middle and high school. I love science. Also, preparing for college is exciting. I tutored other classmates during college and we all succeeded together.
I truly want you to do well. I know that sometimes you just run into a wall with homework; it's stressful and not fun. You are not alone. I can help you. I'm not perfect, but I never give up. Let's crush this test together.
