About Alice
I'm a Feldenkrais Practitioner, professional dancer and writer and co-founder of The London Feldenkrais Collective. Combining these practices has helped me bring a unique approach to teaching Awareness Through Movement classes.
I am particularly interested in how the stories we tell ourselves shape our movement and movement habits and I have an acute understanding of how pain and injury impacts physicality, breath and quality of life. Feldenkrais has been intrinsic to my own injury rehabilitation mobility training. I also work extensively with artists from all backgrounds including musicians, actors, photographers as well as dancers.
Most recent performance highlights have included dancing for The Pet Shop Boys' headline performance at Glastonbury and coaching the female members of The Royal Ballet for their latest collaboration with Lynne Page.

Having taught movement to students of all ages for over 15 years, I understand the importance of meeting each person where they are at each day without judgement or expectation.
As a result, I now specialise in teaching the Feldenkrais Method through Awareness Through Movement lessons. Feldenkrais allows each individual to honour their own movement needs in real time.
The Feldenkrais Method is a gentle movement practice developed with an understanding of our incredible neuroplastic capabilities: humans are able to learn new movement patterns and adapt throughout their lifetimes. This is particularly beneficial for those recovering from physical or neurological injuries, athletes and musicians looking to hone their skills, for those who spend long hours sitting for work or those managing stress and anxiety.
Each lesson is 45-minutes long and tailored specifically to your needs that day. We will begin with a movement observation and continue with Awareness Through Movement class. These sessions are suitable for adults of all ages.
