About Carla
"Hi everyone! I’m a graduate in fashion design with a passion for thinking outside the box and pushing the boundaries of creativity. Currently, I’m working on a bioplastic fabric project, blending innovation and sustainability to redefine how we approach materials in the fashion industry. I’m here to teach because I believe art is a powerful force that shapes how we see and create the world. My goal is to help you think beyond the ordinary, embrace your individuality, and use design as a way to challenge norms. Together, we’ll prioritise creativity, explore bold ideas, and discover new ways to make art central to everything we do.

I had such a great experience learning sewing and fashion design with Carla. She is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and supportive, and explains techniques in a way that makes them easy to understand. I’ve gained much more confidence in my sewing and pattern-cutting skills thanks to her guidance. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to develop their fashion and sewing skills.
Carla has been an excellent tutor. Her teaching style is engaging and tailored to individual needs. She is knowledgeable, very patient, and provides valuable resources.
Her studio is a plus, she has an industrial machine, which helped me having a broader view of the finest techniques.
I highly recommend her.I met Carla while she was working at Maison Margiela, and from the moment I met her, I knew I was in good hands. She took the time to get to know me, my style preferences, and my body type, which made me feel comfortable and confident that she understood what I was looking for. For this reason, I decided to take our relationship forward and made her my personal stylist.
What impressed me the most about Caa was her attention to detail, such as proportions. She not only picked out clothes that fit my style, but she also made sure they fit me perfectly. She even suggested some minor alterations that made a huge difference in how the clothes looked on me.
Overall, I would highly recommend Carla to anyone looking for his own style or for change of look. She has a great eye for fashion and knows how to make her clients look and feel their best.
