About Heather
I have 13 years of experience teaching children. I spent 4 years as a paraprofessional in the special education classroom and then moved on to become the teacher, where I have spent the past 9 years! Teaching children and watching them grow is one of the most rewarding experiences. I believe I would make an amazing tutor and that I could really help struggling readers.

I have been teaching special education for 9 years! I love teaching reading and all that it encompasses. I believe that if a child can learn to read then they will be successful across all subjects! I love teaching phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, fluency and comprehension!
