About Brandy
I have been tutoring students for 10 years. I have taught in classrooms and hold a license with the Colorado Department of Education. I recently graduated with a Bachelors in Education and Special Education. As a parent of a student with dyslexia and dysgraphia I know the frustration and struggles that come with everyday life and school. 3 years ago I started a deep dive into understanding the needs of those who are English Language Learners and dyslexia. Finding ways to make learning fun again allows students to put down the walls and really understand lessons in math, grammar, and reading while retaining and having fun. I develop and search for curriculum based on individual needs not a blanket of lessons designed for the masses.
