About Alex
I believe anyone can understand concepts with proper mentoring by actively working on problems with someone, which will help alleviate the initial hardships of learning new concepts. Once we have worked through a few problems together, the students will try the problems by themselves to help build a sense of confidence. I have taken all the calculus courses, many physics courses, and passed with all A's. I'm not afraid to relearn old topics to ensure the student will have an adequate mentor that provides support.

I think that what most students lack is a strong foundation of basic concepts that need to be truly understood in terms of the actual process not just remembering steps. I will provide visual simulations for learners who need to relate problems with real-life examples and use practice problems to help integrate each topic. I mainly want to teach high school kids or Calculus up to Calculus 5. What sets me apart from other tutors is that I am not doing this for the money, I want to provide a service that I wish was available to me during my struggles.
