About Cody
I graduated from TCNJ with a 3.3 GPA and was on Dean's List for the last two years. I have a B.A. in History and Secondary Education. I am NJ state certified to teach social sciences. I taught in a middle school, 8th grade, for 9 months and a high school, 9th and 12th grade, for 3 months.
I took the ACT for college admission and received a 28 composite score with a 35/36 in reading comprehension.
Currently, I am enrolled in a Post-Baccalaureate Ancient History program at Rutgers University as I work on my Graduate school admissions.

I am a certified NJ educator with 1-year experience in schools. I am NJ state certified to teach Social Sciences. This includes things like History, Psychology, Civics and Government, and skills like Writing/Essay Writing, Reading Comprehension, and Citing Sources. In addition, I can teach test prep (reading and writing) for tests such as the ACT and SAT.
I can teach Middle and High school ages most effectively as per my certification and can assist undergraduate students in their studies.
I believe in hands-on experience. I will work with you on whatever material you are struggling with and work together to improve. My lessons will always be centered on what you need the most help with. Mostly this will look like you bringing the material you need help with and us looking through and figuring out what you can improve on.
