About Linda N
Linda N. Masi is the author of the award-winning novel, Fine Dreams. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Mississippi and a PhD in English from Texas Tech University. Some of her works appear in Tupelo Quarterly, Blackberry: a Magazine, and elsewhere. Some of her stories have been anthologized and she is the author of the children's adventure books, The Necklace of Relur: The Kagim Chronicles (Volume 1 & 2).

ABOUT ME:
Hello! I am a passionate writer (author of the multiple award-winning novel, Fine Dreams) and literary scholar with almost ten years of teaching experience. With an MFA in Creative Writing, a PhD in English, expertise in developmental editing, and a deep appreciation for world literature. Whether you are a young pupil (I wrote my first story at eight years of age), a high schooler prepping for exams, a college or university student trying to meet deadlines, or an adult drafting your novel (whether first or fifth novel), I am here to help you unlock your storytelling potential and/or analyze global literature. I will tailor my guidance to fit your unique goal.
METHODOLOGY (TEACHING STYLE):
I believe that every student has a unique voice and learns at their own pace. Because I work with all skill levels, my lessons are completely customized to your personal needs and learning style. We will work together in a supportive, encouraging, and collaborative environment designed to build your confidence and skills.
CREATIVE WRITING FOCUS: We will cover craft elements such as narrative structure, plot, character development, world-building, dialogue, voice, style, themes, and refining drafts through constructive feedback.
WORLD LITERATURE: We dive into textual analysis, explore diverse cultural perspectives, study historical contexts, and build strong essay-writing and critical thinking skills.
SKILL BUILDING: I provide practical exercises, curated reading lists, and actionable feedback during every single session.
