About Yvette
My career as an educator began six years ago when I earned an Associate of Arts and started working as a substitute teacher with students of all grade levels. I quickly transitioned to the position of Bilingual Paraprofessional with Orange County Public Schools and in my spare time, worked as an English tutor teaching students in Beijing, China. I recently completed a one year internship within an elementary school setting and now have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Exceptional Education. I currently teach students online and in the classroom. I practice Universal Design for Learning Principles including ESOL strategies, and social emotional learning.

Yvette is passionate and caring. She’s very creative with her lessons and believes in making learning fun. Her students respect very much.
Yvette is a phenomenal teacher who not only does a great job at educating her students but builds a comfortable environment with them to be able to trust her. It is not always easy to find a teacher who cares about their students and she truly does. Yvette is genuine, empathetic, patient and will take the time to learn her students learning style to be able to teach them to the best of her ability. You will not regret working with Yvette!!!
She is very dedicated to her students. Her number one goal is to their education and to make learning fun. She is always positive and upbeat. I highly recommend Yvette. My children love her and have progressed tremendously with her help.
