Lesson Outline Introduction “What is a fraction?” Show example: ½, ⅓, ¾. Explanation Like fractions: Same denominator just add/subtract numerators. Example: 2/5 + 1/5 = 3/5 Unlike fractions: Different denominators → find LCM, convert, then solve. Example: 1/2 + 1/3 = (3/6 + 2/6) = 5/6 Solve together: 3/7 + 2/7 = ? 4/9 – 2/9 = ? Give them Assignment. Homework: Solve 5 fraction problems from the workbook. Write 2 real-life examples where you see fractions. Multiplication, Geometry, Algebra) in the same format
