About Philip

I am looking forward to getting to work with students who are wanting to understand science or math topics more clearly. I want to be able to be a resource for helping comprehend and process these topics in a way that some teachers may not be able to do as well.

About the lesson

I am able to tutor students in Middle and High School, and in a variety of science subjects as well as math.
A typical lesson plan would be going over the objectives for the day, as well as reviewing practice homework, and then following with a continued topic along with practice problems to do during the session.
What sets me apart as a tutor is that I am very driven in helping others know how to solve a problem and get to the answer. Since I am currently in a master's program for teaching science education, I am looking to add the skills I have already learned from my previous education to this job.
