Hi! My name is June. I am a recent college graduate with 4+ years of tutoring experience, and I would love to talk with you about your writing!
I worked as a writing tutor at a prestigious liberal arts university, where I helped college students with all types of writing assignments about all types of different subjects. I am trained in a variety of writing techniques that we can try out together to see what works best for YOU - because every writer is different!
I am here to help you communicate your ideas clearly and confidently. My goal is not just to edit your work, but to equip you with the strategies to make writing less intimidating and more rewarding.

Come improve your writing with me using a collaborative approach!
I offer lessons on all stages of the writing process: brainstorming, drafting, editing, and revising. Together, we will talk through your assignment and review organization, argumentation, and style to ensure you are submitting the best final work possible.
I use the same approach offered at writing centers at top universities: collaborative, one-on-one sessions that focus on coaching you to strengthen your own writing, rather than proofreading your work for you. We will focus on the most important parts of a writing piece: argument, logic, organization, and flow. In our sessions, you can expect a supportive, non-judgmental environment tailored entirely to your goals and learning style. We will work at your pace to tackle writer’s block, strengthen your structure, and refine your voice.
My lessons are perfect for anyone struggling with writing or looking to make the writing process easier, including middle school and high school students writing book reports and essays, high schoolers preparing college application materials, scholarship essays, resumes and job applications, or college-level essays and dissertations.
