About Mia
I am a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, and majored in cognitive neuroscience with a focus on learning and memory. Throughout high school and university I tutored peers in fundamental English and writing skills. Additionally, I have always enjoyed reading and reading comprehension even in my personal life (as is apparent by my large book collection in my home). As such, I can assure that I am ready and excited to help you learn how fun and easy English can be!

I try to keep lessons fun yet challenging. Students begin with an subject based entry assessment to determine their current strengths and weaknesses, then I prepare individualized lessons for each student to ensure both engagement and progress. I teach each lesson as transferrable skills with a real world focus.
