About Laura
Hi, I’m Laura! I’m passionate about helping students build confidence, overcome challenges, and realize that learning doesn’t have to be overwhelming.
I recently completed a Bachelor of Business with a major in Accounting and have a strong academic background in Accounting, Statistics, Introductory Chemistry, and High School Mathematics. Throughout my university studies, I discovered that one of the most rewarding experiences was helping classmates understand difficult concepts and seeing their confidence grow.
I believe everyone is capable of succeeding with the right support. I know firsthand that every student learns differently, so I take the time to understand your learning style and explain concepts in ways that make sense to you. My goal isn’t just to help you pass your next test or assignment—it’s to help you develop the skills and confidence to become an independent learner.
Outside of tutoring, I’m passionate about education, community involvement, and supporting others to achieve their goals. I enjoy creating a positive, encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and celebrating their progress.
Whether you’re looking to improve your grades, prepare for exams, or simply gain a better understanding of a subject, I’d love to help you reach your full potential.

Every student learns differently, and that’s exactly how I approach tutoring. Rather than relying on memorization, I focus on helping you genuinely understand concepts so you can apply them confidently in assignments, exams, and beyond.
I offer personalized lessons in Accounting, Statistics, Introductory Chemistry, and High School Mathematics, tailoring each session to your learning style, goals, and current level of understanding. Whether you’re struggling with the basics, preparing for an important exam, or aiming for top grades, I’ll work with you at a pace that builds both confidence and independence.
As a Bachelor of Business graduate with a major in Accounting, I combine strong academic knowledge with real-world experience. I understand the challenges students face because I’ve successfully navigated university myself, and I know that the right support can make all the difference.
My lessons are interactive, supportive, and judgment-free. I’ll break down complex topics into simple, manageable steps, provide worked examples, practice questions, and study strategies that help you succeed long after our lessons finish. You’re encouraged to ask as many questions as you need—my goal is to ensure you leave every session feeling more confident than when you arrived.
Whether you need ongoing tutoring throughout the semester or focused support before an exam, I’m committed to helping you achieve your academic goals while making learning less stressful and more enjoyable.
