About Raquel
During my year as a year as a Tutor and Writing Instructor at the most prestigious program in Las Vegas, Writing Adventures, I gained valuable experience with students from every background at every stage of writing proficiency.
I have assisted with test prep, essay writing, and rhetorical voice with my middle and high schoolers, and have helped with reading comprehension and writing fundamentals for younger students. I have even helped aspiring young writers with their screenplays, novels, and more! With countless hours spent tutoring in person and via video, I am confident our time together will be productive and enjoyable.

I’ve helped students from ages 7 to 18 excel in English coursework. I have extensive experience tutoring private, public, and homeschooled students with a focus on essays, tests, and homework. If you struggle with reading or writing and need a friendly mentor guiding you, I am here to help. If you excel in school but want guidance on personal writing projects, I can help with that as well. No issue is too big or small, and each tutoring session is meant to focus on the student’s individual needs.
