About Emma

Hello, my name is Emma, and I am a graduate-level educator with a strong academic background in French and language instruction. I hold an MA in French Studies and an MAT in Secondary Language Arts. I have experience teaching and supporting students in both classroom and one-on-one settings. I am professional, patient, and well-organized, and I place a strong emphasis on clear communication and individualized support. My goal is to help each student feel confident, capable, and motivated as they learn French, whether they are just beginning or working to strengthen existing skills.

About the lesson

My approach as a French tutor is structured, supportive, and highly personalized. I use a mix of clear explanations, guided practice, conversation, and real-life examples to help students build confidence and practical language skills. A typical lesson includes a brief review, introduction of new vocabulary or grammar, targeted practice (speaking, reading, or writing), and a short wrap-up with strategies to continue learning independently. What sets me apart is my graduate-level training in French, classroom teaching experience, and ability to adapt lessons to each learner’s goals and learning style. My lessons are for students of all levels, including middle school, high school, college, and adult learners, whether they are studying for a class, refreshing their skills, or learning French for personal interest. My name is Emma, and I focus on making French approachable, engaging, and achievable for every student.
