About April
I am an American living in the UK. Originally from Boston, MA, I worked in the US doing many Shakespeare tours, theatre, sketch comedy, and film work before obtaining my MFA from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. After drama school I remained in the UK, working as an actor and acting teacher at Chichester College.
I am also the founder of Mary Rose Productions ((concealed information) and the Crowbait Club UK, an organisation for actors and playwrights to workshop and network new writing ((concealed information)

My approach is Stanislavsky-based but also incorporates Meisner as well. I believe in a holistic approach, meaning that acting comes not just from within but I integrate vocal technique (Linklater) and movement.
I can help you to prepare for an audition, drama school, or simply workshop your craft. We will focus on your needs and yours goals. Lessons are for ages 14+ and can be booked for 60-90 minutes.
I have an MFA in acting from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and over twenty years experience working in the UK and US doing tv, film, stage, and Shakespeare tours.
