About Isabella

Music has always been my greatest passion, a driving force that has shaped my life and career. With over 10 years of formal and informal performance experience in the US and overseas, I have had the privilege of exploring diverse musical landscapes and honing my craft in various genres, including world music, neo soul, jazz, and classical. This journey has not only enriched my own musicality but has also fueled my desire to share this love for music with others through teaching.

I believe that music is a universal language that transcends boundaries and connects people on a profound level. My goal is to help each student discover their unique musical voice and express themselves with confidence and creativity. Seeing a student overcome challenges, master a difficult piece, or perform with newfound assurance is immensely rewarding and reaffirms my commitment to teaching.

My teaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that every student has the potential to excel in music, regardless of their starting point. I am dedicated to creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable exploring their abilities and taking risks. I tailor my lessons to meet the individual needs and goals of each student, ensuring that they receive personalized guidance and support on their musical journey. Whether a student is aiming for professional performance or simply wishes to enjoy music as a hobby, I am committed to helping them achieve their aspirations.

Beyond technical skills, I strive to instill a deep appreciation for the art of music in my students. I share my experiences from performing on various stages around the world, offering insights into the nuances of live performance and the emotional depth of musical expression. My passion for music extends beyond the notes and rhythms; it encompasses the joy of connecting with an audience, the thrill of improvisation, and the beauty of storytelling through sound. Through my tutoring, I hope to ignite a similar passion in my students, inspiring them to explore, create, and find their own voice in the vast and wonderful world of music.
