About Aparajith
Humans are social creatures and we are always going to be dependent on one another. I specialize in understanding why people criminals are the way they are but it began with fascination in people and why we behave the way we do. I believe that life is like a pizza and that each slice is a different discipline and everything fits in beautifully to make a whole. That led me to do a bachelor's in liberal arts and sciences where I got the opportunity to blend psychology with other disciplines and hone an interdisciplinary mindset. The combination of law and psychology completely absorbed me which led to my bachelor thesis of comparing the reintegration of prisoners into society. I've also spent some time with prisoners in Texas and I'm currently working on my master thesis which is based on risk assessments of prisoners in India.

I typically try to teach by relating theories and concepts to personal situations. I encourage students to try and find psychology in their everyday life so they can see for themselves how applicable psychology is in everyday interactions.
