About Elena

Hello! My name is Elena and I am mixed Japanese and British. I grew up speaking both Japanese and English and so I understand the differences between the 2 cultures and languages. Through my teaching, I would like to not only share with you the language but also teach you about Japanese culture and traditions. I would love to be able to improve your confidence in speaking and understanding Japanese. If you require any specific topics or help with language exams you are taking, I can also cater to those needs!

About the lesson

My lessons are aimed at all levels, whether you are a beginner or advanced level, I will cater to your language ability!
I have experience teaching beginners Japanese-hiragana, katakana.
I prefer teaching through conversation and teaching beyond what you can find in a textbook.
My lessons are 1 hour per session.

I am a Graduate of the University of Leeds in East Asian Studies. I am bilingual in English and Japanese and can teach all levels of Japanese
