About Elliot
Hello! I graduated from St Andrews with a first class degree in philosophy and am going on to study for a masters at UCL. I have been tutoring for a few months, currently mostly working on GCSE English Literature and Language. I have spent years honing my essay writing skills and so now a firm grasp of the literacy and writing skills needed to take your written work to the next level! My students have seen their grades improve within a few sessions, and continue to make solid, reproducible progress throughout our sessions.

I tailor my methodology to each student. When I take on a new student we spend the first session understanding where you're currently at, what your goals are and then how we can reach them. I will then come up with personalised lesson plans for you. I like to mix up my lessons with a few different types of activities. I also have an emphasis on thinking in the 'exam style' to ensure my students feel practiced and confident to approach their exam papers.
