About Mary

As a tutor, I will do my best to help you achieve your goals and help set your style, and turn into the musician you want to be. Learning techniques and styles in order to perform at your best is key to success.

About the lesson

You should take lessons with me because I am energetic, understanding, compassionate, and can help you achieve whatever goal you might have in becoming a good singer. My teaching technique is learning the basics first, learning how to breathe through your diaphragm properly, forming words correctly, tone, scales, and strengthening the voice. I believe in warming up the vocal cords first, then learning the style that works best for you, then learning how to fit your voice towards the music you enjoy singing.

Graduated from Delta State University, I studied voice, opera, classical music, foreign languages, Italian and German diction, sang in the DSU honor choir and Chorale, I have a license in music and ca
