Greetings, students! I am thrilled to embark on this exciting journey with you as your Chinese language tutor. Allow me to introduce myself: I am not just your typical tutor—I am an aficionado of Chinese traditional instruments and a seasoned traveler of many vibrant cities in China. My passion for Chinese culture runs deep, and I bring this rich experience into our lessons to make learning Chinese both engaging and immersive.

But that's not all! I pride myself on my academic achievements, boasting an impressive IB score of over 95+ ATAR. Chinese has always been a standout subject for me, earning full marks and showcasing my proficiency in the language. With my expertise and dedication, you can trust that you're in capable hands. I am committed to inspiring confidence, establishing legitimacy, and ensuring professionalism in every aspect of our learning journey together. Let's embark on this adventure and unlock the wonders of the Chinese language together!

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring blends effective communication, adaptability, and a student-centered methodology. With fluency in both English and Chinese, I ensure clear communication and explanation with my students, bridging any language barriers for a deeper understanding. I employ interactive techniques tailored to individual learning styles, incorporating visual aids, real-life examples, and hands-on activities to engage students actively in the learning process.

Lessons typically run for 50 minutes to one hour, allowing for focused instruction while maintaining student interest and retention. My qualifications include a working with children check and extensive experience as a tutor, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment for students of all ages.

My lessons cater to students ranging from level 6 to level 10, accommodating varying proficiency levels and ages. Whether guiding beginners through foundational concepts or challenging advanced learners with nuanced language skills, I adapt my teaching approach to meet the unique needs of each student, fostering growth, confidence, and proficiency in Chinese language acquisition.
