About Ines
Hello! I am a Portuguese student and I've finished in june of 2026 my Bachelor in management at University of Lisbon. I've been tutoring maths for the last 4 years, mainly students from US international and boarding schools. I scored 19.1 out of 20 in the first phase of the national Mathematics A exam and 19.3 out of 20 in the second phase. I also participated in the Mathematics Olympiads in 9th grade and reached the second phase. I am an accessible, friendly and patient person and I love passing on knowledge! The tutoring is via webcam. Using simple and appropriate language, I explain the subject they are learning, help doing their homework, give them worksheets and exercises to consolidate the subject they have learned and answer any questions they may have. Hello, in my lessons I help you solve math problems using examples from everyday situations. I approach the subject in a simple way so that you understand it without having any difficulties. At the beginning of my lessons, I start by explaining the topic, then I answer any questions or doubts and then I do exercises with the students to consolidate the topic. Sometimes I give a worksheet that we do together during the tutoring. I have experience with students from International and boarding schools and I can tutor in English, Portuguese or Spanish. I can also prepare for final exams. To schedule the class, just message me and then we will se your availability and find the best hour for your schedule:)
$35/hour for individual tutoring

Ines has been my tutor since the last 2 years and my grades are so good! I used to struggle a lot with algebra, but now I like algebra and maths in general!
