About STEICY

Already a volunteer teacher in the Institutional Peace Program where I have the opportunity to teach foreign languages to ex-combatants of paramilitary groups or FARC and to victims of the armed conflict. I also worked in a private institute where I taught English to audiences of all ages and in the Foreign Language Center of the University of Valle where I taught French to an adult audience. . Currently, I am an assistant professor of Spanish in Nice within the framework of National Education.

About the lesson

My experience has allowed me to recognize the importance of learning a language from its cultural and pragmatic exploration. More than just learning semantic and structural content, it is necessary to take into account the social and cultural environment within which language acts are carried out. So, I try to make learners curious and feel confident to promote participation and intercultural discovery.
