About Karlo
I was born and raised in the Philippines and currently working in the US. I've been helping students with special needs for almost 10 years. I have a deep passion for helping children who struggle with reading. I believe that every child deserves the chance to become a confident reader, no matter where they start. I specialize in working patiently and creatively with students who face reading challenges—whether it's decoding words, improving comprehension, or building fluency. I use proven strategies and engaging materials that make learning to read feel less frustrating and more empowering. What drives me is seeing the joy and pride on a child’s face when they begin to read with understanding and confidence. Helping them believe in themselves is the most meaningful part of my work.

Students are drawn to my classes because I create a learning environment that is supportive, engaging, and relevant to their real-life experiences. I make complex topics easier to understand by using clear explanations, interactive discussions, and practical examples. I believe in making learning enjoyable while maintaining high standards, encouraging students to think critically, ask questions, and grow with confidence. I treat every student with respect, listen to their needs, and adapt my teaching methods to help each one succeed. My goal is not just to teach — but to inspire.
