About Leah
In 2020 I graduated from university with a 2:1 in English. Since then I have worked in a secondary school as an academic mentor and I am undergoing my teacher training to become a secondary school teacher.
I have taught students within the age range of 11-16. I have a good knowledge on the GCSE curriculum and what is expected for a grade 4+. I am passionate about my subject and I enjoy helping young people better their English skills.

My lessons will always be adapted to my pupils. In the first session together,I will discuss with the student areas that they struggle with. This can give me an idea on what to focus on with the individual. It may aim to tackle a certain GCSE exam question or a SPAG issue that the individual struggles with. All of the lessons will be based on the individual, that is my priority.
