Hi! My name is Shahin, and I am Bengali/Scottish. I have an M.Sc. in ecology and evolution and I'm TEFL certified. I have always been a curious person and I love spending time in nature, which has nourished my passion for science. The past few years I have lived between Bangladesh and Canada. For science, I have a variety of books and websites that I use. I also help my students from East Asian background to improve their English skills while also covering science topics. I've gained this experience from teaching students from Korea, Japan and China. I can teach students from elementary, secondary and university level. We sometimes read articles and discuss them together. For more advanced students, we use the textbook or whatever materials the student is using in their class.

Hi, Shahin has been my great friend and colleague in tutoring. We have shared experience, and referrals of students with each other based on expertises. Shahin is a very easy-going, reliable, professional, and fun teacher to work with. He is good at engaging students and making learning a fun task.
