About Livia
Teaching satisfies a specific intellectual itch to clarify abstract concepts for others. I admit that I spent my early years merely solving problems rather than explaining the mechanics behind them. Having earned a BSc with First Class Hons in Advanced Math from Monash, I now apply this rigor to help actuarial and engineering students understand GROUP THEORY and MATRICES. My work over 5 years involves deconstructing complex systems for those preparing for the transition to university mathematics, though sometimes the path is just quiet persistence.
