About David
"Do you find yourself struggling to bridge the gap between practicing scales and sounding like a real musician? I work primarily with self-taught players and kids who want to move past basic shapes to understand how guitar fits into a song.
After 13 years of gigging in Nashville and Austin, I have learned that playing is as much about the spotlight as it is about the fretboard. My path has been strictly self-taught, focusing on what actually works when you are on stage. I emphasize ear training, rhythm guitar, and the nuances of chord transitions to build your confidence.
My approach treats the guitar as an extension of your voice, ensuring you play with intent rather than just memorizing tabs. What specific area of your playing makes you the most nervous when you are under the lights?"
