About Ryan
I’m a 30-year-old guitarist with a grade 8 guitar qualification who has been playing and recording music since my teenage years. I’ve played in various bands and in venues in London. After moving to Melbourne a few years ago, I’ve continued to pursue my passion for music and set up my own recording studio. Tutoring has always been something I find immensely rewarding, ever since I worked as a subject tutor during university. For the last few years, I've combined that with my longest-held passion, the guitar - teaching students both in the UK and here in Australia. Can't wait to share it with you!

With around 18 years of experience and a Grade 8 in guitar, I offer fun, engaging lessons tailored to your style, whether you're into rock, pop, indie, or metal.
Together, we'll cover everything from chords and scales to solo techniques; depending on what music you want to play. Of course I can teach you all your favourites, but I'll also introduce music theory in a way that's easy to grasp, so you can apply it during your own practice and become a more confident, independent guitarist.
Lessons are flexible, lasting between 1 and 2 hours, and done at my fully equipped recording studio in Fitzroy North.
I look forward to seeing you headline Glastonbury in 10 years!
