About Darcey
I’m Darcey, I’m 16 years old and am training towards my L1 qualifcation. I have been a highly competitive gymnast my entire life and am now working as a coach at my local club which I’ve been doing for 3 years so have a lot of experience in the gym! Having in the past had negative experiences with coaches, I wanted to become a coach and be a positive influence in the coaching world.

I have plenty of experience in the gym having been a competitive gymnast my entire life and now working as a coach.
My lessons are fun and engaging, encouraging all gymnasts to make the most out of the sport. I can work on goal setting, floor routines, flexibility and strength sessions and well as fitness sessions focusing on specific exercises for gymnastics. I can also help with fundamental gymnastics skills. Also, I am able to give support to those especially suffering from mental blocks having suffered and got through several myself.
The typical length of my lessons are between 30mins to and hour however I am flexible on this.
I teach through kindness and respect for the athlete however like to encourage and motivate them to be the way they can. My lessons are aimed at any gymnasts looking to work on their fitness, flexibility, routines or specific skills outside of their gym sessions whilst also being encouraged to-set and reach goals in the gym within their normal training sessions.
