About Gretchen
Graduating with a BA Commercial Music from the BIMM Institute provided the foundation for my 3 years spent coaching artists through actual studio work. My approach centres on getting your hands dirty with hardware and software rather than reading through dry theory manuals. I spent these years refining a method that prioritises making tracks and listening back to them in real time to ensure progress.
Helping someone find their signature sound through gear awareness remains the most rewarding part of my day. These 3 years have shown me that technical growth happens fastest when the equipment feels like an extension of the artist. My studio sessions are built around direct feedback loops that turn rough ideas into finished digital files. Watching a student finalise their first track from start to finish is consistently enjoyable work.
