About Adonis
I have a Bachelor’s in Philosophy from Duke University and over 7 years of experience helping students excel in subjects ranging from AP World and U.S. History to AP Calculus BC. I am also available to assist students in Regular or Honors courses. In either case, I aim to impart the analytical and critical-thinking skills necessary for academic success within a warm and supportive learning environment. I believe that it is the tutor’s duty to awaken their students' innate passion for learning. Highly motivated students seeking more rigorous supplementary coursework are also encouraged to contact me for my services. I would love to develop a personalized lesson plan that surpasses their learning goals and expectations. Since I also write creatively, students who are open to exchanging ideas for short stories, essays, or other forms should not hesitate to contact me. We can schedule a writing workshop in which I relate the techniques and strategies that have helped me draft and structure my own writing. I look forward to meeting you all!
