My approach to tutoring GCSE English focuses on tailored lessons that address each student's specific needs, whether in language analysis, creative writing, or exam technique. I prioritise active engagement through text analysis, exam practice, and creative tasks, with regular feedback to foster improvement. I emphasise exam strategies, including time management and structured responses, and use past papers to build familiarity with the format. Most lessons are one hour long, and I hold a degree in English Literature/Language with several years of GCSE tutoring experience. My lessons are designed for GCSE students (14-16 years old) at all ability levels, helping them build skills and confidence to meet their goals.
