About Emily
I am a second semester senior at UC Berkeley. I was accepted to Ivy League schools for undergrad and chose the West Coast. I do not regret my decision at all. Cal was ranked the #1 school by Forbes in 2021 and I achieved straight As that year. I have a 3.82 and will graduate with honors in May. I am passionate about making higher education and learning accessible to all people of all backgrounds and ages. My teaching style is very involved and hands-on.

I like to start by annotating an assignment description. From there you build an outline. You insert sources with hyperlinks and do your works cited at the front end. Then you start taking notes on your sources and building them into the outline. Finally, you take the outline and paraphrase it to create a first draft. I will peer edit this first draft and get it to a final draft. I guarantee As on all my assignments, and I will help you get an A in the class too!
