I'm not your regular lecturer. I don't teach from textbooks. I mentor from experience.
Every session starts with one question: what is your specific goal? Whether you're applying for a WHO fellowship, writing your first policy brief, navigating an MPH application, or trying to break into global health from a clinical or research background — we build a concrete plan in session one and work toward it every session after.
My sessions are conversational, practical, and outcome-focused. I don't lecture, I guide. You come with a challenge, a draft, a question, or a goal. We work through it together, and you leave with something actionable every single time.
TECHNIQUES & METHODOLOGY
→ Goal-first framework: every session opens by clarifying what success looks like for you specifically
→ Document-based working: bring your SOP, CV, brief, or research draft and we work on it live
→ Real-world examples: I draw directly from my experience writing national policy, WHO research, and Oxford-level academic work
→ Structured feedback: I give honest, specific, line-level feedback — not vague encouragement
→ Action closing: every session ends with 2–3 clear next steps so momentum never stops between sessions
LESSON LENGTH & FORMAT
Sessions are typically 60 minutes over Zoom or Google Meet. For focused document reviews (SOP, CV, policy brief), 45 minutes is often enough. For career strategy or fellowship planning, 75–90 minutes gives us room to go deep.
All sessions are online, available worldwide, and scheduled around your timezone.
My sessions are designed for:
→ Doctors and clinicians transitioning into global health or policy roles
→ MPH and health policy students needing research and writing support
→ Fellowship applicants targeting WHO, Commonwealth, Fulbright, Oxford, DAAD, or similar programs
→ Early-career researchers needing guidance on evidence synthesis, policy briefs, or publication strategy
→ NGO and development sector professionals working on health programs who need stronger policy writing skills
→ Mental health professionals and advocates learning to translate their work into policy language
Age range: typically 20+. All sessions conducted in English.
If you are serious about your global health career and want mentoring from someone who has navigated the exact path you are on, let's talk.
