About DENISE
Hello! My name is Denise, and I am a Canadian educator from Ontario.
I have a Bachelor of Education with a specialization in Special Needs Education, a Master of Industrial Relations specializing in education and training, and a Bachelor of Business Administration specializing in Human Resources Management.
I have more than 10 years of experience teaching, tutoring, counseling and supporting learners of different ages and backgrounds. My teaching experience includes elementary school students, high school students, college and university students, international students and adults.
I have taught English as a Second Language privately and have taught international students from countries including China and the Middle East. I have also taught at the college level, including Organizational Behavior, Ethics and Career/Work Counseling.
My professional experience has also given me extensive experience with workplace communication, career development, interviews, presentations and supporting people with different learning needs.
I am a patient, friendly and supportive teacher. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable speaking, asking questions and making mistakes without feeling embarrassed.
I look forward to helping you or your child become more confident and comfortable communicating in English!

My lessons are friendly, practical and focused on helping you feel more confident speaking English.
I offer personalized online English lessons for children, teenagers and adults, with a focus on conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary and everyday communication. Lessons can also be tailored to workplace English, travel, interviews, academic English or specific learning goals.
For children and teenagers, I adapt lessons to their age, interests and English level using conversation, questions, stories and engaging activities. I also have experience supporting students with special educational and learning needs.
For adults, we can focus on real-life conversation and the English you actually need for work, travel, school or everyday life.
I encourage students to speak as much as possible in a relaxed, supportive environment. Mistakes are part of learning, and I provide helpful corrections and guidance so you can build your confidence naturally.
